Course Fee
  • Seminar for Karate BC Members – Free
  • Seminar for Non-Karate BC Members – $40 + gst
  • Certification Fee for Karate BC Members only – $20 + gst
Minimum Requirements
  • Provincial Judge C Certification: 3rd kyu, 14 yrs of age
  • Provincial Judge B Certification: 3rd kyu, 14 yrs of age
  • Provincial Judge A Certification: 1st kyu, 14 yrs of age – Perform onekata from own style.
  • Provincial Referee Certification: Shodan, 16 yrs of age – Perform one kata from own style and one from another recognized style.
Seminar Participant Instructions
  • An official’s uniform is not required for the clinic, casual wear.
  • Please study the WKF rules prior to the clinic and be prepared to discuss.

  • The clinic conductor will contact you to let you know when the exams will be completed and provide any required links.

Items To Bring
  • Karate gi for kata.
  • Notebook/Pen and/or tablet/device.
  • Bring water and/or snacks or lunch.
  • Gi only necessary for those who are testing.
  • Wi-Fi capable device to complete the theory exam.
Online Exam Completion Online exams are to be completed during the course.
