Karate BC is pleased to announce the appointment of three outstanding assistant coaches who will accompany our Senior Team to Halifax this season:

• Vanessa Restrepo
• Sandeep Gill
Each of these coaches has demonstrated exceptional commitment, leadership, and excellence in supporting BC athletes. Their contributions over the past season — and in previous years — have played a major role in elevating our athletes’ performance, strengthening our training environment, and helping build a culture of professionalism, positivity, and competitive success.
These three individuals stood out clearly in this year’s application process. Their proven track records as BC Team coaches, their ability to mentor athletes at the highest level, and their dedication to advancing Karate BC’s high-performance pathway made them the unanimous choice for this assignment.
We are thrilled to have Rita, Vanessa, and Sandeep represent British Columbia in Halifax, and we look forward to the leadership, energy, and expertise they will bring to our Senior Team.
