Online NCCP Competition Introduction Course – May 10 & 11, 2025

Those who complete this course may be considered Competition-Introduction Trained and may   go on to become Certified by completing tasks 1-6 of the coach portfolio. For those wishing to be   assistant coaches on the BC Team or for the BC Winter Games, the Competition-Introduction   Trained course is a requirement, while head coaches must be Competition-Introduction   Certified or higher.  Who Should Take This Course?
–  Dojo Instructors who are interested in developing their ability to analyse movement and to   provide constructive feedback to their athletes.
–  Coaches who wish to coach at the Provincial Championships.
–  Coaches who wish to coach at the BC Winter Games
–  Provincial Coaches at National Championships

Your Course Facilitator for this session will be: Ashtin Callaghan (ashtin@rhka.com) Coaches   that login after the course content has started or, are experiencing problems with the technology   will not be allowed to participate and will be ejected from the course. Coaches that do not   complete the full workshop or do not attend, may not receive reimbursement for the course.

Coach Workbooks will be sent to you a few days prior to the start of the course. The manual is a   fillable PDF. You will need to be able to view and save the manuals during this course. Please   either print the manuals out or be equipped with a second screen or computer to view the   course materials electronically.

You will likely not be able to save these documents on an iPad or tablet. Online delivery of this   NCCP workshop is through Zoom. Zoom link for access to the course will be sent to all r   registrants after the registration deadline.

Online Zoom Setup Recommendations
–  We strongly recommend that you use a headset for this course to prevent audio feedback. A   computer with built in microphone and speakers may suffice (however, use of external speakers   may cause feedback).
–  You have access to high speed internet.
–  You have a dedicated quiet space with enough room to move around during the active   portions of the class for the duration of the workshop. If you reside at the same physical location   as another coach that will be on this course, please ensure that you are in separate rooms, on s   separate computers, and please eliminate all background noise.
–  You have your materials open and accessible for the course.
–  You must attend the full duration of the workshop to receive credit for the module. Webcams   are required for this course and must be turned on. Remain muted during course until it is your   time to speak.
–  Please register before the deadline. This will ensure that you receive the zoom link for the class and the correct manuals.
