Every Child Matters
On September 30, Karate BC joins Canadians in honouring the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
This is a solemn day to remember the children who never returned home from residential schools, to honour survivors, and to support the families and communities whose lives were forever changed.
We recognize that words alone cannot heal the past. This day calls on each of us to listen, to learn, and to reflect on how we can walk the path of reconciliation in meaningful ways.
Karate teaches us respect, discipline, and humility. On September 30, we pause to carry those values beyond our sport — towards truth, justice, and reconciliation.
