After careful review, Karate BC has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2025 Provincial Championships scheduled for September 13 & 14, 2025 at the Richmond Olympic Oval.
This outcome reflects several factors—including lower‐than‐expected financial forecasts, significant logistical hurdles, and constructive feedback from many of our dojos and clubs. While disappointing, we believe pausing now will allow us to enter the 2025–26 season on stronger financial and operational footing.
We are actively exploring alternative dates and formats for the event and will keep you informed of any new developments as soon as they are confirmed.
