On November 25, 2025, the Canadian International Champion League hosted an Anti-Bullying Charity Seminar at the Vancouver Martial Arts Academy. The event brought together local parents, community supporters, and members of the Vancouver School Board’s Academic Committee for an important conversation about how to better support children.
Karate BC Executive Director Larry Feagan was invited as a guest speaker. Larry emphasized that anti-bullying work must support both the child being bullied and the child doing the bullying — helping us understand the reasons behind the behaviour and how to guide young people toward healthier, positive choices.
Thanks to the generosity of the organizers and attendees, over $2,000 was donated in full to Karate BC to help support the promotion and development of karate programs across British Columbia.
