Karate BC is looking for volunteers to assist with the upcoming 2025 BC and Canada Open Karate Championships! These tournaments bring together athletes from around the world and expect to draw large crowds as the best talent takes to the tatami.
The Canada Open Karate Championships are organized by Karate BC and sanctioned by Karate Canada. Karate BC is a non-profit organization, and the recognized Provincial Sport Organization (PSO) for karate in British Columbia.
Event Dates:
BC Open: Saturday, November 22 (non-elite divisions)|
Canada Open: Sunday, November 23 (elite divisions)
Volunteers needed: November 21, 22, 23, 24
Event Venue:
Richmond Olympic Oval
6111 River Road
Richmond, BC Canada
Volunteer positions include:
- Event set up
- Spectator admissions
- Accreditation
- Access control
- Food / Hospitality Services
- Scorekeeping
- Marshalling
- Weigh-in (must be 19+)
- Event tear down
