On July 31, 2004 Karate BC will be hosting its 4th
Annual Golf Tournament at Carnoustie Golf Club. The last tournament was a huge success due largely in part
to the generous support from Karate BC members and local businesses in the form of hole sponsorships, prize donations,
and participation in the golf tournament. This year, in honor of Karate BC's 30th Anniversary, we are looking forward to
an even greater response and an exceptional day of golfing. In addition to being a fun event, we hope to raise funds
to help athletes on the BC Team offset some of the costs of competing at national and international competitions.
The cost of participating on the BC team is $700 for each
athlete. With your
help we plan to raise enough to fund
scholarships for five Karate BC elite athletes.
In order to achieve this goal, we are asking organizations
to sponsor a hole for only $200. ( Checks are to be made out to Karate BC )
In return for your support we will post your organizations name on a sign next
to the hole you sponsor.
