7. National Handicapable Martial Arts Association - source
(David Hackett)
Greetings To All: I
am contacting you today on behalf of the National Handicapable
Martial Arts Association.
We are a grass roots, non-profit organization, dedicated
to the development and promotion of Martial Arts for the
physically disabled.
The organization was started about a year ago in the United
States, and has grown to
take on international proportions, with affiliates
world-wide. I have been appointed
to the position of Canadian Director, and am contacting you
with the hopes of getting
our message out to Martial Artists across Canada, disabled
and able-bodied alike.
Our first priority is to locate and contact disabled Martial
Artists across the country,
to let them know about the organization, and what we have to
offer. Anyone can be a member
of the N.H.M.A.A., but our focus, obviously, is on the
disabled. There is NO cost to join.
