An individual is referred to a member club, through which their
membership is processed. Karate BC does not have individual membership.
A Club contacts Karate BC requesting information on our Association.
Karate BC requests $30.00 from club (money applied towards club fee if
accepted).
Upon receipt of $30.00, Karate BC will contact Membership Director to send
out package.
Upon receipt of application, Membership Director forwards to Technical
Committee.
If application is denied, then applicant is informed and $25.00 is refunded.
If application is accepted, then applicant is informed and Karate BC will
send out member registration forms.
Should a new club not respond with individual registration forms within
60 days, Membership Director will send out letter reminding club to comply
and advise them of a 30-day deadline for compliance.
Should new club not respond to second letter, membership director will send
out letter informing club that application is now considered abandoned,
the club fee is forfeited and they would now have to reapply for registration
of club.
